The beautiful Goonawarra Golf Club is located less than an hour from Melbourne’s CBD and boasts a championship quality 18 hole golf course that is a joy to play.
The course was opened in 1981 and soon became a member of the Victorian Golf Association (VGA) and Victorian Ladies Golf Association (now known as Women’s Golf Victoria). Pennant teams were formed, annual tournaments conducted and events such as the Australia Open Golf Championship pre-qualifying rounds were hosted.
