3 August 2020Brisbane River is a great course to play with rolling hills and stunning river views. Every hole is challenging but 2 holes standout as particularly tough: the Brisbane River runs parallel with the 6th fairway and the green has water on the front 3 sides and thick rough at the back; the 11th hole is the only par 5 on the course and undoubtedly the hardest as the fairway slopes towards the water along its entire length.

26 July 2020The pro shop staff were very friendly and helpful as were other players and staff we encountered on the course. The course was in good condition with firm fairways and reasonably fast greens. The carts are petrol so a little noisy with fumes but are in good condition. The hole alongside the river caused some anxious moments with hazards on both sides of a narrow fairway but worth the challenge of playing alongside the Brisbane river. Some friendly fire from wayward shots from other golfers during the round ensured we kept our wits about us but fortunately this was limited to a couple of occasions. I enjoyed the day and would play the course again. I would recommend Brisbane River golf course.
